
We are very proud to announce that our book “Handbook of Best Practices for O2 Management in the Winery” has received a Special Mention in the OIV Awards 2025, in the Oenology category.
This international recognition, awarded by the Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin (OIV), highlights the importance of applied research in winemaking. The book has been coordinated by Ignacio Nevares Domínguez and María del Álamo Sanza, with the support of the UVaMOX group and the collaboration of ITACyL, Carburos Metálicos, IVG Colbachini, and the Fundación de la Universidad de Valladolid.
In addition, the book is published in several languages (ES, EN, FR & IT) and is free to download for all interested parties: UVaMOX – Technical Publications.
This achievement is a recognition of the joint effort of coordinators, team and collaborating institutions, and a further step in the dissemination of good practices in the management of oxygen in the winery.
